Penelope had her babies around 2:00 AM-5:00AM on July 28, 2008.

There were no complications–14 bright pink, healthy looking babies.
Penelope’s doing good, taking care of the babies and taking time to herself every now and then. Due to the fact that Penelope did have a large litter, I’m keeping a close eye on the babies to make sure all are getting fed and kept in the nest.

Tomorrow, or later today depending on how you look at it, I will be cleaning out the nursery cage and getting more pictures of the babies. I’m hoping to get some pictures everyday so I can make a growth page, we’ll see how that goes.
